Top notch content, but poor use of ads

To be clear, this is not a review of haaretz the newspaper, which is excellent, but rather, a review of their app.
It makes sense to put ads before articles that would open. It does not make sense to put a five second ad before an article which you are blocked from seeing anyway. Very frustrating...
